The Dubai Mall does not have any licensed restaurants. Our sister mall, Souk Al Bahar which is connected by a link bridge on the Lower Ground, has a selection of licensed restaurants and bars that are open

The Dubai Mall is one of the biggest malls in the world, and the largest in the region in terms of shops open.

Why is there still so much road construction? When will it be done?
The Dubai Mall is working with the RTA (Roads and Transport Authority) to complete the road works as efficiently as possible.
Signs have been put in place on the main road, and around the mall to ease congestion and help visitors.We expect all main roads leading into the mall to be completed by end of 2008.

How many shops are open & why?
There are around 600 shops open on November 4th, 2008. This is the largest mall opening in the world in terms of the number of retailers opening simultaneously. Retailers are continuing to complete their shops, and will open on an ongoing basis in the mall.

What new stores do you have?
The Dubai Mall has over 165 new stores that are new to the region, or have opened up standalone stores for the first time
For example: the department stores: Galeries Lafayette (Paris) and Bloomingdale’s (New York), Hamley’s (toy store from London), Waitrose from the UK, Kinokuniya Books from Japan …
